Helping our partners thrive
We process, import and export grains and oilseeds.
We work hard to make our partners' businesses more successful, and work closely with farmers and customers including vegetable oil refiners, compound animal feed manufacturers and processors such as dry millers of imported unprocessed grain.
Our capabilities and resources
Located in the ports of Ghent and Antwerp, our processing facilities crush rapeseeds and soy to produce a crude oil that is then further refined for food and technical applications. The rapeseed meal portion from the crushing process is a protein rich ingredient for animal feed production and is sold in the local market.
Bioro NV takes crude oils, including those produced by our Ghent facility, and processes them into biodiesel. Our integrated Ghent site is the only complex in Belgium able to handle the complete biodiesel production cycle - from raw material processing to finished product - in a single location. It serves customers in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.
