Describe your career path so far

I obtained my Bachelor degree in Physics from Sofia University. My Master degree is in Accounting, from the University of National and World Economics in Sofia. I also hold a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate, focused on Optimization of Processes in Production and Supply Chain areas. I spent four and a half years working for the Financial Department of the Bulgarian branch of Coats PLC. My main responsibilities included overseeing the manufacture profitability, performing financial analysis (Expenses, Trading Profit, CapEx, NWC and FGO), as well as preparing financial summaries for the Management.

Why did you decide to join Cargill?

I joined Cargill, because I wanted to work for a global company, which never fails to present me with new challenges. At Cargill I have great opportunities to steer my career in the direction I desire.

What do I love about Cargill and/or my position here?

Cargill is amazing company. Every day you can learn something new. My colleagues are seasoned professionals, and even interaction with them helps me develop, and become a better professional myself. Cargill is known for its corporate social responsibility. There are various projects aiming to preserve our planet, and make it a better place to live.

My role at Cargill

As an HR Accountant, I`m responsible for payroll (booking, reconciliation etc.). Salary expenses are the major expenses in most cost centers (especially in the Administration department), and they reflect all business units. Therefore, it is crucial for me to perform my duties with a high level of precision and confidentiality. I am also involved in an HR Project, called GACA. It is related to compensations of expats in the EMEA region.

My advice

Work hard and enjoy the time at Cargill.
