Competitive compensation

Cargill is committed to competitively rewarding staff in its compensation package for the business areas in which it operates. The company provides its employees with a competitive compensation system that takes into account both regional market and industry factors in order to encourage and reward excellent performance. In all of its businesses, Cargill pays employees competitive wages in line with the local market rate, whether they work in Antwerp, Herent, Rotterdam, Moscow, Hong Kong, or Minneapolis.

Employee benefits

Employees in Belgium are provided with a Medical Insurance Plan funded by Cargill. The Medical Insurance Plan covers permanent employees locally and, while on Cargill business trips outside the country, for accident and illness costs. Benefits provided locally include pension plan, meal vouchers and supplemental health insurance.

Total compensation will be competitive with the external market and the compensation mix will support Cargill’s long-term strategic direction.
